Lemieux Vector stirrup

The LeMieux Vector Balance Stirrups are modern and advanced safety stirrups that provide exceptional comfort and security in the irons. These classically styled safety irons are lightweight, strong and supportive. Aviation grade aluminum allows the irons to be extremely strong, without being heavy. The Vector Balance foot plate is set at a 5 degree incline with a grippy tread and impact-absorbing polymer “cushions” for shock-absorbing comfort and performance. The combination of proper foot position and shock absorbing components help protect your back, hips, knees and ankles from injury and strain. The frame of the stirrup is engineered to be recessed and slightly off-set, allowing the stirrup to hang at a 45 degree outward angle which makes it easier to pick up a dropped or lost stirrup while on course. Vector Balance irons feature a special spring loaded safety arm that releases in the case of a fall. The arm remains locked and the stirrups remains strong, secure and stable when the pressure is spread across the stirrup tread. When that pressure is transferred to the stirrup arm, as in the case of a fall, the arm or branch releases to prevent the foot from being caught up.
