PS of Sweden Flying Change Dressage bridle
* NOSEBAND The wide, anatomical noseband is designed to leave the cheekbones and nerve endings free, achieved by it being swept up and extra wide. The noseband is equipped with very soft padding to prevent pressure and rubbing around the horse's jaw. We have chosen the pullback strap because the padded cushion underneath always stays centered when you tighten the noseband, regardless of whether you use the outermost or innermost hole. The bridle comes with a removable Aachen strap so you can easily vary it depending on what your horse requires. The noseband has two looks, one with a lacquered noseband and round-stitched details, while the other is entirely leather with flat sidepieces.
* HEADPIECE The area around the horse's neck behind the ears is a very sensitive area with many nerves and ligaments. To alleviate pressure from the bridle, we have developed a headpiece that is extra wide. The headpiece also has a cutout on top, distributing pressure evenly and not on one point. Additionally, the headpiece is cut to provide space for the horse's ears - all to provide the highest possible comfort.
* CHEEKPIECES Our sideparts are specially designed to reduce pressure from the neck via our elastic CradlesTM. A vagga is an extra elastic band on which the bit should rest. The elastic band is located in the sideparts at the bit and also on our reins. The idea is that they should act elastically and provide a higher degree of comfort for the horse, as the bit should "bounce." It should then relieve teeth and neck from static pressure. Many believe that horses are happier with this type of bridle, and that it can be gentler and more horse-friendly than regular bridles and reins. On this bridle, the seams are round-stitched and there are also optional "cradles" with a French hook, making it easy to detach them when entering the dressage arena.
* BROWBAND The browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye sockets. Today, all our browbands have a rubber-coated inside called "anti-slip" which should keep the browband up and prevent it from sliding down. As if this weren't enough, we of course have our beloved Click-ItTM function, making it easy to remove and replace the browband as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle.
* COMPETITION The bridle is approved for competition in all disciplines in Sweden and within the FEI. Remember to buy a jaw strap and attach it to your browband and make sure the vaggas are disconnected during dressage competitions. Recommended for horses: * Stable in riding * Enjoys a classic Aachen noseband * Sensitive to pressure over the nose ridge Extra features: * Avoids pressure * Leaves the sensitive nerve endings free * Pullbackstrap * Flat, Italian, vegetable-tanned leather * FEI approved for both horses and ponies in all disciplines when throatlatch is added
